Town of Jackson
Old West meets Modern Resort Town. Jackson Hole is cradled by the Teton Range to the west, the Snake River Canyon to the south, Snow King Resort and the Gros Ventres to the east, and the Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park to the north. The town square is the hub of town, surrounded by restaurants, hotels, galleries, T-Shirt shops, boutiques, and gear stores. If you are driving into Jackson from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, you will find yourself all of a sudden at the town square.
Don't miss out on activities like tandem paragliding, events like the Snow King Hill Climb, races like the Pole, Pedal, Paddle, performances like the nightly town square "shoot out," dining out at a fun filled Chuckwagon, or hobbies like skiing at the world renowned Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Over the years Jackson residents have watched as the town has expanded north, east, south, and west. The town is literally full, as real estate prices display, yet there still remains so much open space. Many original ranches either still exist or have donated their land as wildlife habitat. As the resident population has grown from seasonal employees to year round locals, the town has also had to grow to accommodate a larger population. It's not hard to understand why Jackson locals have chosen to call this marvelous place home. As the town has grown, more and more residents have moved over the "hill" into Teton Valley, Idaho, a growing community and destination for those looking for all the adventure of Jackson but with a few less crowds.
Teton Valley Cabins is 35 miles from Jackson, Wyoming. The drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour up and over Teton Pass.
