Palisades Reservoir Palisades Reservoir is located in between Swan Valley, Idaho and Alpine, Wyoming, a little under an hour's drive from Teton Valley Cabins in Driggs. Palisades is a fantastic destination for camping, picnics, boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, and fishing. When the waters are low, you may even see a paraglider being towed high into the sky. Don't forget that fly rod. Cutthroat and brown trout fill the waters, inviting many a fly fisherman to test their skills. You may find an occasional kokanee or mackinaw as well. Ice fishing on Palisades Reservoir can be a fun and successful adventure as well. Designated campgrounds include Elk Creek, Alpine and Hoffman. Make sure to arrive early during the summer months to claim a good spot. Alpine, located on the south east end of the lake, has a few restaurants and a grocery store for supplies. |
