The space has modern stylish updates and detailed amenities, while holding tight to the rustic charm our guests love.
What Makes the New King Room Special?
Our king room has been thoughtfully redesigned with cozy mountain vibes woven into our vision. It offers modern amenities and an upgraded layout that complements the classic log cabin aesthetic we’re known for. Whether you’re returning from a long day of skiing at Grand Targhee Resort or bopping around the town of Driggs, this room welcomes you at day’s end as a perfect retreat to unwind and relax.
Updates with a Nod to Tradition
We’re proud to be a part of Teton Valley’s rich history, and our goal is to enhance your experience while preserving the unique charm that defines our lodge. This is just the beginning of our mindful and gradual renovation process. As we move forward, each update will reflect our commitment to blending our unique niche cabin character with modern updates and comfort.
Stay connected…We will announce updates as we continue to enhance and improve our special place here in Driggs, Idaho underneath the cottonwoods.
3 Reasons We Love Skiing at Grand Targhee Resort
Over 2,600 acres of skiable terrain is 13 miles from your cabin when you choose to stay with us. Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wyoming, is a dream destination for skiers and boarders who value incredible snow, uncrowded trails and a welcoming, chill family vibe that’s affordable! Here are a few reasons why we’re head over heels for this winter paradise:
1. Unmatched Snowfall
The numbers don’t lie. An annual average of 500+ inches of white gold hits this resort every season. A quick conversion shows you that’s over 40 feet. This precious powder is the real deal, because GTR doesn’t make any snow. The powder here is legendary and small crowds (and quiet weekdays) make for days of double digit runs easy. When we get a big storm, don’t forget your snorkel, and make sure to hit our oversized jacuzzi for apre.
2. Breathtaking Scenery
From the summit, you’ll be treated to jaw-dropping views of the Grand Teton Range and vast expanse to the surrounding valley. It’s hard to beat the feeling of carving through fresh snow while taking in the stunning mountain landscapes.
3. Laid-Back Atmosphere
Unlike some of the region’s busier resorts, Grand Targhee has a friendly, laid-back vibe that keeps visitors returning often. It’s welcoming to families, groups and the real die hard “lappers.” Take a walk through the main plaza and you will see a little of everything: food that was bought, food that was brought and folks gather as groups and enjoy the sun or the provided fires scattered throughout. It’s the kind of place to easily make memories with your people without the hustle, hassle of crowds and remains affordable.
After your day of adventure on the slopes or exploring elsewhere, head “home” to Teton Valley Cabins to relax and relive the highlights of your time here. With our cozy accommodations and proximity to the resort, your winter trips won’t be forgotten and should become a tradition.
