Teton Valley, Idaho activities abound; this is true. So in the winter on the next bluebird day, ask any local Nordic skier in Teton Valley where to go, and the Alta track will be on the tip of his or her tongue. With just over 1o rolling kilometers of groomed skate and classic track offered, any level of skier can come out and get the most bang for his or her buck. Why is that, You ask? well first and foremost, it is free – so there is a win-win right off the bat. Secondly, its about a seven minute drive from the Driggs city proper, so it can be accessed easily on a lunch break, and the big attraction for people like me who love our furry companions, you guessed it! Dogs are welcome.
Your next visit to Teton Valley, and your stay with us, of course….should include some gliding on the ole’ skinny skis at the Alta track.
